Silver Sword Quest - The Death and Return of Chivalry

Actually what this basically is is a storytelling game ...
defined by wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storytelling_game
...with the same amount of structure and rules as a traditional RPG. So you don't have to list your inventory exactly, but you do have to convince me that your character would have the item, be albe to carry the item, would have brought the item, and that the item works within the existing framework of the rest of the game.

<<<Plus, the "<<<" and ">>>" meant it was OOC, so stop replying to it in character. You cant have a bloody spell for everything. Its unfair. Now, list it, storytelling game or not.>>>

By the way, this game is also not a democracy. So please use the OOC tags so we know you're doing an OOC comment and not dialouge.

: I did. You guys didn't read it. My character would too have some discount cards for the shop he co-owns, "Rx & Bombardier"... Don't see what all the fuss is about.
It's not unfair to try and promote business... Sharp is first a wizard, but yet, also a merchant... If you don't like me having mine giving out discount cards to other characters Tobias, then here's an idea : 1. You don't have to shop at Rx & Bombardier if you find the owner abrasive (yet I would not suggest trying to take it up with the manager because he is one of the managers- it's a partnership.
?
2. If that still has your temper fried, then why not bludgeon nerd42 about having your own shop. <- That way, you can take-it to the market level competition. You could try and snag more customers by trying to have "better" goods and wares, or striking up better deals. It's not in the realm of economics, it is each storekeeper who is the sovereign of his or her own tiny "nation-state."
DM, what say you?

: : , I made a typo there. What I meant was "It's not so much in terms of government as rather in the realm of simul. economics..." said <- so please,- do continue...

: Tobias, ... I do believe you were at the part about how stupid you thought I and my character were (again)... As for a -ing list (of 'items'/[the dubious category of] "inventory"), see Post: 219 because I am not going to clutter up Nerd42's RPG here by posting the same thing all over again. So there lol. Also please do have a looksee @ the economics suggestion that I had made.

er, yeah, um ... Folks?
Let's not let this descend into a shouting match, eh?
I think this badly needs some comic relief.
A huge giant jumps across the river and knocks over a tree! It's Flunk!
[Flunk] Duh... Hi! Hi! Hi!
Silver Sword Quest - The Death and Return of Chivalry
Thorn Posted Dec 27, 2005
[Sharp]: "Well, if it isn't our old pal, [the Indefatigueable] Flunk."
*Says "Hello!"*

Silver Sword Quest - The Death and Return of Chivalry
Thorn Posted Dec 27, 2005
[Sharp]: "Monkeys?"
: This is so starting to remind me of a Zelda game, lol. <- You traded banaba to get twig,- etc.

[Sharp]: *Notices said simian still has itself attached to Flunk's finger*
"That looks, , painful."
: Sorta like a 'Thorn' ( about the pun) in a lion's paw, eh?

LOL Flunk never met a monkey, OK? He's making the whole thing up, because he's very very stupid.

: Oh. , perhaps it's an "Well,- so am I!" -kind of a thing.
[Sharp]: "Is that what," *thinks: [really]* "brought you over here?"
Silver Sword Quest - The Death and Return of Chivalry
Thorn Posted Dec 27, 2005
: Oh.
[Sharp]: *Looks up and see's Flunk's hands covered/coated in something yellow.*
"maybe it thought one of your fingers was a banana,- is why?"
*Thinks: maybe Flunk likes cheese? -Hmm, I wonder if there is a dairy-maker nearby.*

[Kylne waves hi to Flunk, and thinks that we need to lose this giant somehow.
Silver Sword Quest - The Death and Return of Chivalry

[Sharp]: (to Kylen) : *said through his teeth* "You think we could some how trick him into helping us again,- like last time?"

[Kylen] To Sharp. "Not sure. I don't even remember the last time he was here."

Thorn Posted Dec 28, 2005
: FYI wa-ay- earlier in the Dark Forest thread. , I think.
[Sharp]: "Hmm..."
*Gets an idea* ... *Then loses it*
"Tobias, I don't know what we can try to pull this time to trick Flunk into helping us." *starts to say, "I'm open-to suggestions..." then thinks better of it.* "Usually trying to entertain him (Flunk) will work. ANy ideas (maybe some slapstick)?"
