I'm still here, my condition is active now. Balance, fatigue, memory, and strength on my right side have gotten much worse. I am scheduled for assessment in a weeks time, but the wheels move slowly.
My 
is still in the pound, the lawyer we hired says another 4-5 weeks yet...
I've got no good news to pass on(my birthday was the 15th, turned 43),
so just been lurking lately.

Just wondering.
I did miss it!
I left town just after that and thought I'd worked through my post but had not and spoke too soon.
Sorry to hear you are flared up bad.
I am not anxious to ever think of traveling again.
I am ready to be done with it physically speaking.
It takes a long recovery.
I am working through a change in medication.
Unable to get into studies I have been waiting for(short version)
I am a bit weird myself now but expecting to normalise.
Well abbinormal normal.

oh nothin' particular.
i just have a very evil cold...and it's exam week soon. and i'm going to fail them all Bcos i know nothing. and my head is full of mucus and my throat hurts like hell. and it's nearly bloody summer again, which means that the city will promptly self-combust again. GRRR.
too much work to do, too little brain-space.

Researchers are saying that FDR may have had Guillain-Barre syndrome rather than polio as previously thought.

A friend of mine has Guillain-Barre now, she is completely paralyzed.
It is terrible, she cannot comunicate yet.

They are slow in fact finding on GB.
It can be a terrible event, one that never ends for some.
Sorry to hear your friend is not better, I recall you mentioning her before. I thought you might be intersted in Roosevelts diagnosis. It shows they are up to something research wise at least.
