The Industrial and Storage District
Fred Smith Posted Dec 13, 2002
The bonnet of Fred's car flies off and two small missiles fly out, they intercept the government's missiles in mid-air.
[Fred, through the radio] Er, Maw, Do you happen to have a get-away plan? Because that would be pretty usefull right now.

Jade: *dives behind Fred and crouches down to not get hit with debris and whatever else is flying about right now* Indeed it would. Erm. MaW? Help?

...Forget it, I'm outta here.
*runs on foot back to bse, Thrasymachus trailing behind her*

*The remaining gunships lay down some light fire, re-group, and fly back to base.*
The Industrial and Storage District
MaW Posted Dec 13, 2002
[MaW] Well that was easy. Come on Fred. Give me a lift would you?
* climbs in the car and bends the light around it so it's kind of invisible-ish *

[A series of WHOOSH noises is heard. And then a spiky-haired teen in dark glasses and a red jacket comes racing over towards the scene, propeled by a set of dash boots.]
Imagine this:

...only grinning and with dark glasses, i.e.
[He comes to a halt and stands up]

Ditto.
[Yar] Gimme a MILKSHAKE!
[Nobody knows exactly why he says this, but it probably looks kinda cool.]

::a man steps out of the shadows, he is tall, has a five o'clock shadow, is wearing a black trenchcoat, and smells of alcohol::
Not many milkshakes around here kid, plenty of beer though.
What are you doing here anyway? It's dangerous around battle sites like this.

*The air shimmers very slightly behind Ranma, something moving just beyond the visible range of light... something BIG.*
The Industrial and Storage District
Apollo Posted Dec 14, 2002
*while Yar keeps the stranger distracted, Apollo searches the ground for clues as to what happened...and more importantly, where the anarchists have gotten to*
The Industrial and Storage District
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 14, 2002
[Yar] Nah, I just say that a lot. [notices the shimmering] Hmm, this looks like a job for a Supposition Disk ...
[He takes out what appears to be a purple CD with a big red button in the middle. He presses a button and it starts glowing and spinning, and throws it at the shimmering. It seems to be self propelled when he lets go, or possibly is being moved by telekinesis.]
Supposition Disks, by the way, are not fatal unless swallowed in large quantities. When activated and when they hit a living target, all they do is stun (much like all of Yar's weapons).

Wow, instant invisibility. How handy. *The mini drives back to base as quickly as possible.*

Im just asking why your here, it's my job to figure out these things...
The Industrial and Storage District
ED-E42 Posted Dec 14, 2002
*The shimmer shifts completely out of sight and sidesteps the disk.*
Eddie: Would you kindly remind this Yar fellow that we are on the same side? I'd rather he didn't throw those things at the Avatar... I'll keep it out of the spectrum entirely until you need it.
The Industrial and Storage District
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 14, 2002
Oops, sorry.
[Yar] Well, somebody set up us the bomb, and now we're getting blamed, so I'm going after the villain guys before the Agents get madder at me than they usually are.
The Industrial and Storage District
Apollo Posted Dec 15, 2002
*snooping along the ground*
Hey, Yar... are you any good at tracking? It looks like we still have some treadmarks from the escape van...

Ahh, well, you guys mind if I tag along?
I just woke up here after a night of Hard drinking for some odd reason.
The Industrial and Storage District
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 15, 2002
[Yar] I'm kinda good at it.
>Examine tracks
The tracks go off thataway.
[Yar] We'll be wanting to go thataway! [points] No, wait, that's where they came from. Uh, right! [points in the opposite direction]
The Industrial and Storage District
Apollo Posted Dec 15, 2002
*looks around, surveys the situation*
Boys, I think we're too late... we took just a bit too long. Fortunately it won't happen again, if my assumptions are correct. I'm off to get in touch with my contact. If you think you can track down that cruiser and find those rebels--go that way
*goes up to Yar, whispers in his ear* Be careful of that Ranma, I think I smell a trap. Whatever you do, DON'T take him back to basecamp.
*hails a taxi cab, and is gone*

[Yar] [under breath before Apollo leaves] Right. [after Apollo leaves] So, we're going that way! [starts going that way]
