Wand'rin Star has arrived safely. We had dinner, and she's now at her hotel, possibly already sleep.

So who's next?
MMF, are you still arriving around 2pm? If you'd like to join WS and me, we're planning on meeting around 3ish in front of her hotel.
I can pick you up from yours if you like, or even meet you at the station.

I think TC is arriving end of the afternoon, around 5?
Then, the Irish gang around 7.
And Dragonqueen much later, but we'll all still be awake, hopefully.

Not sure about Loftskywalker's arrival time yet.

Arriving around 12.00 noon. Need to book in, lose suitcase, possibly unpack, and get as not bothering with as currently 00.45 and must be up at 03.00. Not worth it. Will text when on TGV. Then leave it up to you.

At St. Pancras St. 90 minutes early? Cab took 15 mins instead of over an hour. Plenty of time to and drink . No Pastis though.

If I get the connection at Champagnes -Ardennes I should arrive at Reims central at 17.17. I will get myself to my hotel and text you, SF, and then come to find you at the Sherlock, Place de l'Erlon.

I leave in three hours. Have got to pop into the office to finish something, and then I must pack.

Have been out and done an early morning training run, about to go get dressed, and head to the airport in good time. The G8 conference is happening in Norn Irn next week, so there's extra security all over the place, but especially at airports.

*wonders how explaining Abby to English-speaking group will go--or even just to the h2g2ers that haven't previously been recruited*

Amy, do you give permission to Abby to have a sip of champagne after the cellar visit? Just a sip, I promise, but it would be a shame to miss that.

Looks like I won't be able to make it to Reims this time

I'm back! Sitting in the garden eating our own strawberries. Everything went fine.

Lofty, pleased you arrived gone safe and great to be able to meet with you and have a chat. Or even a number.

As per usual, time flew past, but it was a small comfortable meet and hope you all had a good time.

Now just to replicate that at another Meet!!!

You'd rarely have a meet with just 8 in London, MMF - so the odds are against you really. You do fine.

I was back home just before 23.00 yesterday, some 4,5 hrs later than expected.

The only thing in time was the commuter train from Reims to Champagne-Ardenne. Everything else was late or very late. My luggage has yet to arrive.

Well, the train to the airport was somewhat delayed. Not that it mattered since I had plenty of time in advance.

Then there was bad weather in Paris - thunderstorms - so the flight to Stockholm was delayed some three hours. I missed the connection home, and had to wait another two hours for the last flight to the Icy North. Of course my luggage went AWOL, and has still not arrived.

But it was worth the efforts. I really enjoyed the Meet and the time spent with fellow researchers.
