smiley - smiley Yes, I've lived here for several years this time around, and I studied here as well, before that. smiley - ok

The practical details are being discussed over at the "getting there" thread, but here's a quick summary so far :

smiley - tekcor From the UK, either train (to London, then Eurostar to Paris, then high speed train to Reims), or flying (to Paris, then high speed train to Reims) seem to be the best options. (*)
Which one you pick will probably depend on where exactly in the UK you live, and what offers are on when you order your tickets.

(*) Most high speed trains will take you to the TGV station, but there are trams from there to the town centre, and I've also offered to shuttle people in my car if needed.

smiley - zzz Place d'Erlon is the main street, it's about 5 minutes' walk from the station and there are a number of hotels in and around those (You can get reduced prices from some of them on booking websites).
Some have discussed going to one of the Ibises, or to the CIS hostel, which is a little farther off.
It seems from my searches that the hostel is now full on the dates of the Meet, so that leaves hotels.
smiley - shrug I don't really know the hotels, so can't really advise you there, but I would tend to recommend chain hotels, because they tend to be standard, so there's less chance of a bad surprise.

smiley - ok Looking forward to meeting you. smiley - smiley
