Hi my names greg

Started my addiction to RPG in the old days of DnD, Paladium, Marvel heroes. Then off to the jolly world of mud, rock on Austinmud!! Finally began a bitter sweet life with DAOC. Tried many others just keep going back. Hope to play city of heroes.

If anyone is interested Iam coding an enviroment for paper rpgs online. Its basic but it will works. About 3 weeks from completion. Would love to do some DnD again with it. If anyones interested in dusting off there DnD online bring it on!! ^^ Reason iam making it is because my old group lives hundreds of miles away smiley - sadface

I told you before; I came across a random link in a Baldur's Gate Conversation. Posted by Titania, as it happens.

Easy. Baldur's Gate is my favorite game in the whole world and I wanted to read all the Conversations it had. Why so suspicious anyway?

LQ - Just plain old LQ

You should be pleased if you think they're out to get you. It doesn't mean they're not, but it means they're not as good at hiding it.

Hello

I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. Actually began AD&D in 82 with my family. My Uncles, Aunts, cousins and Mom got together on Sunday and played. Nothing like a huge family argument about one PC's stupidity killing another PC to get you hooked for life. (Quicksilver the magic user (my aunt) Charlemagne the lawful good Paladin.(my uncle not married to this aunt) and several lackeys (including me) enter a small octagonal room. The ceiling is shrouded in darkness and first guess would put it at least 50ft away. Other than the clinking of the heavily armored Paladin and the glow emanating from his giant 2 handed talking vorpral sword of sharpness all is silent and dimly lit. In the center of each wall is a lever, all levers are facing down. What do you do?
Quicksilver confidently strides to the farthest wall, and announces that she is pulling the lever. The smart PC’s flee and scream “What the hell are you doing” The overconfident Paladin draws his sword, smirks, listens to the click as the lever pops in place and is instantly sucked to the ceiling. The next sound you hear is a loud metal chunk. Charlemagne yells “What the hell”. (and he takes 3d6 worth of dmg).
Quicksilver now announces that she is pulling another lever. Charlemagne free falls 50ft and you know what that means. (5d6 dmg) “Stop pulling the levers you stupid B----“ but his sentence is cut short as Quicksilver flips yet another lever. 4 healing potions, lay on hands healing and an intense conversation with his sword could not save the Paladin that day. (ahhh childhood memories)

I’ve played about every RPG in existence. My best friend and I have been gaming for 21 years. I run a Gamma World Game every now and then. I have also played, Vampires (live action and table top) Top Secret (the most confusing game in the world) Marvel super heroes, A wild west game a friend of mine invented, Elves of Aken (another game a friend of mine created) Baldurs Gate, Diablo Car Wars (remember that) that space game that came out with the gliding monkey?
Yes……I’m a sad little man. But I don’t talk about gaming on my dates. lol
