I don't like the options on towel. There isn't one for an honest hitchhiker who generally knows where hir towel is, carries it when sie can, etc, but has nothing to do with such things as "towel day" or other special occasions. A towel is just a useful thing to keep handy, like it says in the books.

I had to use t@, and that doesn't seem fair, since I dutifully carry a towel in whatever bag/satchel I'm using, without making a big deal about it.

The descriptions, of course, can't accurately describe every option. I'd peg your towel-use as a t+, GTB, despite the missmatch in descriptions.

Fair enough. I'm new to this whole code thing, so I guess I'm not used to figuring out where I fit in the various categories. Love the entry, BTW. smiley - cheers

That said, t+ really should be "I know where my towel is"... smiley - smiley

Right... is !x for "I don't fit any of the options on category x"? I'd forgotten about that one.

The exact definition of !x is 'I refuse to include this category. It's a dumb category, and the different options are stupid, so I'm going to sulk'.
We should petition Master B to change this at the same time he changes t+, into 'and/or the different options are stupid'. smiley - smiley

I think the basic message remains.smiley - tongueout

I would treat t+ as the general-purpose, 'I am well-acquainted with my towel, thank you' smiley, in the same way as I use B+ to show a grudging respect for the HHGTTG books.

Two suggestions:

1. If you have money, then you aren't a hitchhiker and thus don't really need the book, but go to Barnes and Noble and buy the omnibus edition anyway, like I did.

2. If you don't have money, and/or are a genuine hitchhiker who, like, does illegal stuff, go to http://www.google.com/ and search for "Douglas Adams EBook" and download the books on your computer, like I also did. (I assume you get to use a computer since you posted here) If you succeed in finding either the first one (the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) or the last one (Mostly Harmless) please tell me as those are the only ones I'm lacking in ebook form.

And by the way, I KNOW where my towel is, it's at http://nerd_42.tripod.com/ Scroll down to the bottom of the page, you should see it. Or maybe I'll save you the trouble, here it is: smiley - towel
