It vanished when the <./>info</.> page was re-written to give it a faster loading time. Not there now. 
Mind you, it was little more than an ego trip.

Hmmm - the info must be there somewhere.....
C'mon H2G2 Editors, bring it back - or create a page with just that info...
It'd be good to have a total number of postings that a person has done too... (see Gp32x.com for example)

The total number of postings would be quite a fun thing to have. It exists on the 606 message board, where we have parties for people passing certain milestones like 1,000 or 5,000 posts etc

I'd hate to think how many posts I've made in total since I've been on H2G2, the most in one day I made was over 500 
back of course when we had* the most postings on the stats page when I was in Manchester and posting a lot more as I didn't have anything to do asides my MSc dissatation 
I was normally about high 100's or low 200's a day I've seen a lot of message board type community places where they have the number of postings the person has made next too or below their username

Well I would never be in your league, 2legs. Even at the height of the QO v N3 races I never went much beyond a hundred postings in a day.

I can still remember the first 'race' to the 10K I think that was when I hit 500 plus posts in 24 hours 
I literaterly posted constantly on that thread all day 
It kept me away from my MSc.... not that I needed an excuess mind
