Actually, that's the quickest I've seen one of Traveller's posts appear. It took me forever to figure out who it was, usually I don't see his posts until the next day, earliest.

I understand the point of pre-mod in general, but it can be really disruptive to a conversation.

Like how it messes with thread titles, for example.

Actually I think Nick must have done that intentionally, because you can't reply to a Hidden post, can you?

You *do realise that you can change the subject title back ti it's original, broelan, don't you?

Who ever looks at the subject of the last posting, though.

I *always* check the subject title before replying, don't you even look, Gnomon?

I did know that. And occasionally I look. But unless I have a good reason to I usually don't change it. It makes for a nice running history of the convo.

Sometimes notice the subject line, and sometimes I don't....

I generally navigate using the MP page, and the subject line doesn't change from the original on that.

I have -marked an URL that takes me to "My Most Recent Conversations".
It is easy to see which conversations have been active since I left, so naturally I read the original subject line before clicking it.
I frequently scroll back to see what's been added (by myself or others) since I last participated in said conversation. It's so easy to forget.

Oh and I frequently don't notice if the subject line has been altered

I guess most of us are. For the few others I thought this might be helpful

Dissolution has another meaning: debauched living; dissipation.

Would it be incorrect to state that we have reached an advanced state of dissolution at this point?

I suspect we reached some considerable time ago!

Considering how many smileys we have for liquid dissipation ....
