I think it gives you the little tree diagram which shows which post a post was answering. It's a bit superflous really - but it was supposed to help with very quick moving threads, so you could follow who was answering whom.

Pliny is having a few teething troubles, but it will soon be sorted out. There are a few bugs that have come to light when we've gone live, but we're confident they'll be fixed shortly. Then soon everyone will be able to continue to use their preferred skin, with minimal interruption.
The Ripley Skins (goo, alabaster, brunel) had problems as well, they way they got information was causing the site to be unstable and go down on a regular basis. The main thing that was causing the site to be unstable with the majority of readers who arrived via search engines, and didn't login. So by switching them to Pliny it means that it stays more stable for everyone, including those who want to keep Goo, or will never be parted from Brunel.

I'll gladly part from brunel once conversation navigation gets the functionality I've grown accustomed to. An autorefreshing convo list that controls a separate tab, (rather than opening a new one every time I click a link), which allows me to go to the first unread post in a thread is all I need.
Thanks, for the hard work guys, I'm sure y'all will get everything sussed as soon as you can.

If I recall correctly (and I'm at work so can't access the documents..) those things are all on list of things we'll soon have. The crucial thing is that we'll have the control over Pliny to make those changes, in a way that we can't do with the Ripley / DNA skins.

Is there any reason why I can only "reply" here and on the messages in "My Space" but not in any of the Conversations.. Is this a case of transfering 'stuff' as with happened a few months back with the BBC handover? So if I just have patience the problem will resolve itself?
