Hi Jon_m,
I've added you to the page. And yes the "Bin Man" is my favourite player too.
Does anyone know where Big Nev is at the moment? The last I heard of him he was Commentating on a Radio City (or it could have been Magic 1548) Everton match.

Hi,
I am joining on the night we scraped past round two of the Carling cup, beating the mighty Bristol City on penalties!
Its so unusual to be supporting a team that has won on penalties, though. I can't remember the last time England or Everton did!
Favourite player? Neville Southall. Sour faced welsh bin-man though he was, he was without doubt the world's greatest keeper when he was at his peak. He prevented Everton from being relegated in two or three seasons when times were bad, and helped us to win the league twice when times were good.
If Rooney had stayed, turning down the offers from Newcastle and Man Utd, then he would have pipped Nev to top spot. I wish him well, despite the team he has chosen.
Alan Ball and Bob Latchford also high on the list.
But NOT GAZZA

and more info would have been written if I had more time! Suffice to say, it's good to be here :o)
Oh - and do I get the right to change my fave player at any future date? Cos it could be anyone out of latchford, sheedy, southall, watson (dave, not steve, be fair), ... the list goes on
Cheers

Too many greats to pick an all time hero but Tim Cahill has to be one of the best signings made. He was cheap, moved up a division, hit the pitch running and hasn't stopped since. Everything I want to see in a new signing is demonstrated by him.
Bring on Europe! We're waiting!

Shame it didn't quite work out like that... but looks like we could be on for Europe once again!

Europe is a long shot but not impossible. 4 senior suspensions for the Newcastle game isn't funny.
As for bringing on europe, myself and 2 more blues are off to watch Barce vs Real Betis at the weekend. We said we'd go to europe and we meant it! Just wish it was to watch the blues.

Favourite recent player would be Nigel Martyn. He was such a great goalkeeper. Superman keeper, like Shay Given.
