Guess who I saw in HMV in Liverpool today? The man himself Wayne Rooney, he was with a load of his mates. I don't think that many people know what he looks like because there were quite a few people doing double takes trying to figure out if it was him or not. Though there seemed to be a few nervous security guards. As I've read most Everton related articles in the newspapers over the last three weeks (a fair few of them about Wayne Rooney), there was little chance of me not recognising him. Well thats my claim to fame anyway

I can see why a lot of people weren't sure though- I mean how many teenage boys with close cropped hair are there in Liverpool?
And I was drinking cognac the other day with a Norweigan who played schools football against Steffen Iversen of Spurs- now that's what I *call* a tenuous claim to fame....

the names GAZZA P i have been a blues fan for approx 30yrs.favorite players dave thomas,pat van den hauwe and peter reid there are a lot of others but to many to mention.up with the blues and lets beat the rednecks on dec 22nd.

Are you kidding? I thinks its great, the more of us the better. Its just that I've been trying to promote the page on h2g2, and was wondering how best to get those closet Evertonians to come here. I'll have to remember to keep Everton in my name in the future. Thanks .

I actually live on the border of Merseyside outside Liverpool, in an area called Whiston (Steven Gerrard was born here *boo...hiss - unless he scores for England *), so I can almost avoid it, except for the fact I have to go to university there. So do you live anywhere near Liverpool?

I know I few people in page moss. You actually live nearer Liverpool than me I think. Are there many people who support Liverpool near you, or are you fortunate enough to live near Evertonians?
