The future of the 4-5-1 formation.

With the transfer window not far off and Moyesies wallet itching to be used it is a good time to reflect on what will happen whem new players arrive at Goodison.
Everton's present playing style - five across midfield and a lone striker - has proved highly successful. I feel though that this style was in part forced on Moyes by lack of resources. This formation is normally adopted by clubs away from home who are making a thinly disguised attempt at a 0-0 draw. However, with three attacking midfielders in Kilbane, Osman and Cahill Everton, particularly away from home, have harvested a bundle of points.
My question is: should we recruit players with the intention of continuing this formation or are we stregthening the squad to go back to 4-4-2?
