I need to learn how to use GIMP a bit better!

If I messed around and made a smiley or something could I upload it anyway? Not promising anything, but I have a lot of spare time at the moment

The test for joining is to find an entry or two that doesn't have an illustration yet - either by just browsing, or by using the Infinite Improbability Drive - and then make pictures for those that meet the requirements.

(I can find you suitable entries, if you like.)

Then upload them to your own webspace - or a photo sharing site like Flickr or Fotki - and give us a link when you're done

Then we will go off and discuss matters behind your back

No, I've been looking for other blobs to get a feel for what they look and seeing if mine fits the style if you like. But so far all the entries I have found have had photos!

Well mine doesn't appear to be fitting the style of the others, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though.

I've added a light and a shadow to ight so it looks a bit more realistic. I may change the background so it looks more like its in a room. But I'll have to do that later.

Don't worry *too* much about trying to make it look like the rest in style - just take your best shot at illustrating the Entry. Conformity to one style ( the thought!) isn't a big requirement.
