Yeah, purple/pink strips along the nossle, with the turret painted a mish mash of the two. Although with lights along the edge, so you could see it!!!

I meant the color of the beam, which in the case of Shadow cutters, is a redish pink core with a mottled purple haze around them.

Beam weapons, we have'nt used beam weapons for years. Apart from the great solar-beam ships which can destroy whole fleets in a second/or two (depending on the distance). Particle weapons are the way of the future (particle as in mechanics (small body of energy))!!!

Admiral Art. These are shadow cutters, the beam slices through any matter it touches, it would there fore be to one's advantage to fire it in a beam, more area of effect, more destruchrion, more pretty.
