WOW! i can't believe that the conversation forum of a page i made has managed to become so popular. maybe we should arrange more battles on this battlefield to try and get it to number one status.
or, maybe we should have a battle of all h2g2 armies here? what do u think guys, should we continue this particular battle or should we postpone it and settle our diferences in an ultimate battle between as many armies on h2g2 as possible?
up to u lot of course.

And then it goes quiet . I seem to have trouble figuring out who the key players are here. I kind of figured Terran is one boss. I assume there must be an enemy leader as well.

the leader of the thunercats was suspended from h2g2 for 7 days for spamming, so they haven't had a leader in this battle, however, instead, they have had a few civilians helping them instead.

*Circles over the No Man's Land.*
Hmmm...
*The 'melif comes sweeping down, and changes to armour form. It moves forward towards the trenches, preparing to lay seige to the Thundercat front line.*

The SAS have finally appeared. The Commandos' are coming down from the helicopters in four man units. This is not a token force from Sterling Headquarters in Hereford, but a very strong and much needed contribution to our Thundercats defences. I can see there at least 20 units of SAS soldiers have landed prepared for attack. Field Marshall do you know how famous these commandos are? They have two mottos: 'Who Dares Wins' and their training motto is 'Train Hard and Fight easy'. General Spook Have not you heard of their fearsome reputation and how tough these commandos are? Very few recruits make it through the very tough selection process, perhaps only or two are passed. The recruits to the SAS are not civilians but soldiers from various regiments. I am not trying to frighten you, Terran Soldiers but I am warning you what you are up against.

*Mystrunner turns the Guymelif around to face the incoming SAS.*
Bring it on. Nine tons of elemental steel and nano-quicksilver is enough to have a good party...

Look this is the SAS, the toughest troops in the world and if that does not impress or frighten you. I have asked Major George Cowley, Bodie and Doyle as well as the rest of the Professionals team members to join in. They are using stun grenades, and the usual SAS famous weapons. They also shouting Richard Whitely jokes!

*The biplane turns around and fires it's machine gun on the SAS helicopters.*

*Mystrunner flicks a switch inside the cockpit. It seals, and the middle layer of armour is drained of air, becoming soundproof.*
Defences designed for protection agains resident frequencies, but it'll still work...
*Nozzles flare out on the back of the 'melif's hands. It towers over the SAS troops.*
Try me...

SPOOK: DON'T LAUGH AT AN ENEMY THAT YOUR SO BIG ARMY HASN'T EVEN BEEN ABLE TO DEFEAT YET!!!
"casts spell on spook and it's raining acid on the terranic general... this spell is equal to the mood that loup is at the mo' after learning that his application to be a knight might have been refused because of petty politics... no forces on earth or anywhere else can undo that spell... even the gods will not dare intervene while loup is furious... that spell will work until loup, and only until then, calms down and undo it himself..."

It wasn't us I don't think. There is an independant company that h2g2 get to look over the forums and stop people doing thing like spamming. These moderators are everywhere! And they tend to take some things a little too seriously.
Nice meeting you.

(Some of us are fairly newly aquainted with the Terranics, but somehow I don't think they'd undermine the Thundercat leaders just before they declare a war that they planned. There are a lot of moderators floating round the guide!)
* still waiting for flying handbags *
Loup: don't worry, I think the gate keeper has been away for a bit it shouldn't be long before someone with authority gets back to you so have some (I'll teleport it over to you) and calm down.

loup what petty politics are these?
Hiya Rabid Monkey and Fred. Sorry about the tricky capturing bit there Terran, but didn't you like the nice and anyhow?
Who exactly are the SAS Jedi Woman? I hear you mentioning them (or raving) but I still have absolutely no clue, except that they are in your opinion the best British army thingamajig..?
I think the opening up of war to all the armies would be a rather good idea spook corp..More variation anyhow. And perhaps the World War I battle specifications could be modified to be a bit more loose?
Fight on!

EH?!... erm... i mean eh?!... oh right... (clicks fingers... acid rains ceases to...err... rain...)
quille: it's ok, someone made the mistake to imply that my application to be the knight of francophiles [i do want to promote and help activities having to do with that area...] was being put on stand-by because of the side i'm supporting in this war... that's what i meant by petty politics... but it seems that it was a misunderstanding so i just stopped the spell that i casted on spook... [the acid rain]...
he might have to change his uniform tho'... but the smell should disappear eventually...
