Primord

I was watching tv with my brother (he was off on holiday) we were watching a very emotional edition of Oprah Winfrey-not a show I'd normally watch, but the subject was very inspiring. All the people on the show had gone through some terrible personal experience. One man trapped in his car lost his arm escaping, one woman had saved her life escaping a terrible gas explosion by diving in her pool. Very touching stories.

However-during the adverts we hapened to turn over to the news, just as the first plane had struck the building. My brother said 'oh god-what a terrible accident' and I agreed and said 'if it was an accident'

then then unbelievable happened-the second plane hit. Then we all new this was no accident...I have never felt such sorrow and fear for other people as I did that day...then the news kept coming...the plane that came down in Pennsylvania I believe, the attacks on the Pentagon...I'll never forget the scenes...of people trying to escape those buildings...and then the collapse of the towers.
A day no-one will or should forget. My heart goes out to all those people involved in that tragic day...and I hope that the survivors know that each day we in Britain hope for the future.

God bless. smiley - lovesmiley - peacesignsmiley - peacedove
