Even this annoying piece leaves out the viewer tag today (January 2011)
So until they fix the viewer tag, we are safe from that annoyance.

As the authour of this deliberately annoying piece I am delighted
that someone read it, but for me of course I can't tell if it's still
really working because the tag thingy comes up with my name.
From where I'm sitting it's working. It speaks to 'me'.

I wonder what you're seeing and if you've changed your nickname tag
recently, like since the changeover. Maybe it's just the new nametags
that don't work.

But do not worry ----, I understand perfectly if you prefer not to get personally involved. Cyberspace can be a strange and frightening place, there's a lot of weirdos out there and they all seem to know who you really are.

ps that is just happening in Beta- In brunel it reads the same as always with names inserted.

Gadzooks! The new h2g2 is having some real big buggy issues.
With no net benefit so far one keeps thinking of the old saw
'If it aint broke, dont fix!'
But god forbid that progress should ever be expected to wait
for those of us with common sense.

how about if the new design team says it ain&acute t broke but everyone knows it is.
It seems more like the emporers new clothes.

July 2011 I just checked and barlesque still does not recognize the Viewer tag.
That's fine with me. I would rather the tech team for the new owners fix the apostrophe instead.

I guess like a lot of folks here abouts I have
long since given up on Barlesque. Probably best
now to wait and see how things stand or fall on
the noohootoo. But thanks for your interest and
