That Ape ain't threatening anybody, you know. He just did the sensible thing, seems to me,... if he was on our side.

Let's not all go running off in different directions now. They'll clean us up if we're isolated.

I reckon X could tell us something if he heard them dogs and knows we're here.

*considers the Ape*

*one hand remains fixed over the mouths of the two pugs who are beginning to wriggle, while the other hand gently fends off the third*

Right, well, that wasn't very illuminating. *points back at the town* There's a saloon over there - empty, more or less; there's a shop type of thing, which was very firmly closed up - I think I saw lots of weponry and the like; there's a jail house. Lil isn't there, but I saw Zero. He seems ok. Is he following?

I didn't see Zeppo, though, sorry, d'E.

Actually, everything was pretty quiet. Too quiet?

*suddenly notices the ape tabeleau.* Oh my...

Might I suggest a compromise? Why don't we give the pugs some food? They should keep quiet for a moment as they eat that, allowing our simian friend here to let them go. That should then hopefully calm down the more excitable members of our group. Then we can plan where we are going next, who is driving and whither any of us understands Simian in the first place.
*Looks around expectantly*

*hastily slices and dices some steak for the darling little pugs and puts in to three bowls on the ground*
