There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted May 15, 2005
I'd love to check out some of my old drinking haunts The Salisbury near Oxford Road Station, the Claremont Hotel in Moss Side, that Robinson's pub I used to go to in Fallowfield, the Old Conti (which I'm certain is no more), the New Conti (probably gone too if I could even remember where it was), the Capri Ballroom over by Maine Road

I spent many happy hours in pubs and venues up and down Oxford Road and around the uni during '77, '78, '79
Anyone familiar with a dodgy cuury house called The Plaza? Upper Brook Street I think it was.

I can certainly let you know that the Salisbury is still there. It used to be a regular friday lunchtime pub but it's gone downhill ine the last few months and the last time we went it wasn't doing food anymore
Still it's good for a noisy weekend rock night
