And my other half also has a house, but it's way too small to fit me, my dog and my studio in along with her, her two kids, 3 cats, rabbit, and extensively large art projects as well. You see my problem here Bats?

And it's fun being single, enjoy it while it lasts (easy to say huh?) you can scratch yourself whenever you like, ogle all the pretty girls/guys that go past and never feel guilty when one of them speaks to you. This is a good thing.

I don't think the answer is so much in 'lowering your standards' rather than 'adjusting' them. Decide what is really important and what is just window dressing. Make that your guideline.

In my younger days I had opted for the pretty, shallow types on occasion. With one notable exception they were all dumb as a box of rocks. Which made them nice to look at but only as long as they promised not to actually say anything.

When I found PC I had adjusted my way of thinking and looked deeper down first. Though he is quite attractive it's what comes from deep down that makes him truly wonderful.

All that aside - stop worrying! You're really not that old. I know when I was a teen I felt the same way and was annoyed by 'old people' telling me to stop worrying, but eventually I did, found out I was perfectly fine without someone to 'complete me', then found one anyway.

So let's adress this logically. Why is it you haven't really dated and how long (not including kindergarten) have you been doing so?

i dont know.... i really dont... ive tried... but every time i ask someoone, ANYONE, i get drilled down for it
and when i get a yes its either a prank or they suddenly say sorry but we are too good of friends and cant do this

Why would someone say "yes" to you as a prank? Maybe you need to broaden your group of friends...

I wouldn't worry about it too much, Angel. Most of the people who were doing things like that to guys when I was your age are now kicking themselves because they got stuck with an Al Bundy (typical and rather limited jock-type) instead of a Bill Gates because they were too daft to realize a few facts of life. Even the bible says 'and the Geek shall inherit the earth'..

yeah but thats here.... no one from h2g2 goes to ST.FX university in canada..... im basically alone here apart from a few people, but i havent known them long enough to be friends.... let alone good friends... like QA....
