Sorry! Had to dash out for a few to pick up some more jalapeno stuffed olives! Hi Galen! How about a martini with a couple of the above olives? Gives it a wicked little kick!

I find Count, that the trick to dealing with gargoyles is just to let them do anything they want to do! (Oh yes! And make sure you have LOTS of gargoyle treats around, or they start eating things...like your furniture, paintings, chess pieces, and guests!)

*hands 3 more "garlic/lady-bug/granite" flavored Gargoyle treats to the bartending gargoyle*

Mmmm.... No! Gargoyles don't like to be touched, unless it's their current victom thrashing about... (they do have their downside you know!)

Talking about downsides, my sweet....What if I drop off a barrel of *Clencher* and perhaps a couple of cases of McLurchers, next time I`m passing??
Nice as your martinis are, I`m not much of a martini drinker usually, the olives get between my teeth. (Such Canines, you wouldn`t believe it!)

Sure Galen - the gargoyle just made up a new batch!

(Proceeds to give each of the gargoyles a heart and a tuna-radiator fluid-old rust gargoyle snack, puts brownies on the table for the s to play in, sprays some mist into the air for the s to enjoy, addresses valentines to Lurcher, Mistadrong, Ex-Rambling, Galen... hmmm...who am I forgetting?)

*gets martini from gargoyle and sips it

*gets out her set of diamond-cut files, goes about filing the gargoyles teeth for them so that they are nice and sharp. Dusts the cobwebs (tickling the s while she's at it), and generally tidies up a bit. Lights a candle, drips some "Egyptian Evening Musk" into the wax to scent the room. When done she gets out her copy of "The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe" and sits by the balcony doors to take advantage of the last of the afternoon sunlight. The Gargoyles flap up to the rafters, and after a few minutes of pushing, shoving and general crankiness (followed by a very look from Michele) they settle down for their mid-afternoon nap...*

*She stirs the embers in the main fireplace, then strolls out onto the balcony for one last glance at the stars. Four of the gargoyles fly past her to take up their evening posts; two on her balcony overlooking the grounds and the walls, two on the roof watching the skies. She pats the closest one on the head, it growls with pleasure at the attention. As she steps back into the room the other three gargoyles get into place, one on each side of the main fireplace, near the entrance into her suite, the other in the rafters above the door to her bedroom.

"Crackle" she calls to the gargoyle nearest the bedroom door, should the wolf appear before I wake - please make him comfortable and offer him some before he leaves. The gargoyle nods his head and gets back into position on the rafter.

She opens the window to her room to let the moonlight in and climbs into bed. "How beautiful the moon is tonight..." she thinks to herself as she pulls the comforter up around her neck...

*L appears at the door. nods to Crackle, and sits down to relax his aching bones*
Thanks Crackle (what a nice name), the is just fine. You certainly know how to keep the Clencher in good order. Perhaps a large McLurchers to go with it?
* Settles back to enjoy his drink, all the more so because in RL he can`t have a drink for 8 days. EIGHT DAYS !!! Still....if that`s what it takes.......*
Keep settin` `em up Crackle, tonight I`m going to get p****d. Turn me loose just before first light.
