Sorry to be gone so long! Ice storm knocked all the power off - then when power and phone lines were restored cable was still off...(my internet connection at home is via cable) Am off work today cause it's my birthday (Yay me!) 29 again this year! (Gee - how long can I keep doing that??) So I havn't been on h2g3 since Friday...

It was a very pleasant birthday (no limbs fell off, and nothing stopped working - which is always a good thing!)

I do think that I will have to pick a new age - as I have overused 29... Oh, well - don't have to decide that until next year!!! (Yay! )

Lovely to have you wandering through my room! Have some and I'll get the noisemakers and party hats out! (Do wolves wear party hats?) As for s - I know they can party! And I can only imagine what mischief Space Kats can get into!

The white queen looks up at Michele and frowns. "So, are you gonna start playing, or what?"
"Yeah!" Fusses the black night, "I wanna kick some bishop Butt! Aim me at that bad boy over there!"
The white Bishop scowles at the upstart horse, but doesn't bother to reply.

And who can blame him....

I got these from some New Age travellers and I though you might like a change from 29.
There's a good selection. Some nice 18's and a sparkly 28.
Root around, try some on and see what suits you.
21 looks nice, just think of the party that goes with that.

Ohhhh how thoughtful Count! (gives a very stern and disapproving look to Lurcher ) you know - I think I'll try out 27 for awhile...I have very fond memories of 27! But then again 28 and 3/4 would be nice also...it's not quite 29, but yet old enough to not be quite so frivolous! (shoots another very stern look over to Lurcher )

The chess set can be quite contrary at times. It's all I can do to keep them from having an outright brawl! They do tend to behave a little better when the gargoyle is playing...he just eats them if they get too lippy! (Gargoyles play by their own rules!) Of course...I have to let the gargoyle win. He gets so upset when he loses that he eats the entire chess set, the table and the chairs! Better to let him win and just have him snarf a couple of unruly chess pieces then the entire gaming area! (The gargoyle turns to the Count and Lurcher, his eyes glow read and he grins in response to that last statement)

*turns to Lurcher...the room gets dark, clouds begin to gather outside, the ghosts and shadows hide behind the paintings and curtains, the gargoyle flys back up to the rafters and cowers with it's head under it's wing...Lightening strikes twice out on the balcony. A strong wind comes up and whips around Michele, her robes and hair billow around her as she says to him in a supernaturally loud powerful voice...

"JUST HOW OLD DO YOU THINK I AM LURCHER???!!!"

*the room quakes from the booming of her voice. Suffering, fearful voices wail in warning in the background "Nooooooo, noooooooo, do noooot aaaansweeeer" the wind gets wilder, Michele's eyes burn with a green deadly light...

"WELL???"

awe havent you got anything in kitty ages??? they are all to big for me.. a nice 4 perhaps? hehe

*starts playing with one of the pawns* yum!

Time is a purely relative quantity...You can be as old as you want to be here!!
It doesn`t matter!! To me you are a fresh young thing simply brimming with health and vitality, and I am honoured to be your friend!

But if I was FORCED into guessing the age that the Real World imposes on you ...I`d have to say...Anything between 29 and..er..er er..29 1/2 !! Certainly no older

*Wonders how convincing he sounds*

Now we`ve cleared that little matter up, perhaps you could persuade that gargoyle to withdraw it`s head from it`s a**e and get us both a nice strong drink??
