DC, shall we go?
Mr. Christopher, enjoying the Magicians Guild game where he is called Polonius Franc, Elder Healer and local merchant Posted Feb 8, 2003
Three interesting things are happening next Saturday:
1) My Birthday
2) Susan B. Anthony Day, which I will be advertizing
3) An anti-war rally in NYC I will be attending while advertizing Susan B. Anthony Day.

What wars was Susan B. Anthony alive to see?
The Civil War? Was she against it? If so,
was she making a statement for or against
slavery? Or something else?
There was an interesting book that came
out last year, about Victoria Woodhull,
who was considered as radical in the 19th
century as Betty Friedan was in the 1960s.
Walt Whitman teamed up with Victoria Woodhull's
son to build a time machine so that all the
soldiers who would have died in the Civil War
could pass safely through to a future era.

I was answering your post...
But that's ok, I don't get the connection either, except that Mr Christopher said all this stuff was happening on the same day.

hmmm I have never done any protesting...very few things 'I' feel the need to protest against...but there is this group of women that stand in front on the NYC public library the old one wearing black with signs women in black against the war...and I was thinking of going in all white and having a sign man in white against the women in black who are against the war...that way I could take a stand but not on anything to important

Um, Tacsatduck, I'm not sure if there is a war
yet that one can be against. I thought the one
in Afghanistan was officially over, with the U.S.
victorious. The one in Iraq has yet to start,
*officially.*
Okay, there's the war on poverty, and there's
the war on drugs. I wish these protesters would
be more specific so one could tell which war they're
against.

ummm here is part of an email sent out by my rugby team
"If anyone is interested. This should be a crazy scene.
Even if you are pro-war these rallies are great hippy chick hook up spots!
Or, you can show your current lady that you are a politically conscious
gent!"
under that the guy gave out times and places oh my oh my

One would imagine you're already marking your calendar and making plans to attend all of them?
DC, shall we go?
Lady Scott Posted Feb 10, 2003
You *don't* mark your calendar?
You really should, you know...
I'm sure the dentist's office gave you that nice calendar so you wouldn't forget when your next appointment is, and I'm sure they won't mind if you mark other events on it too.

Well then, what are you waiting for? Mark the dates on one of those - no be wild and mark them on *both* calendars!
DC, shall we go?
tacsatduck- beware the <sheep> lie Posted Feb 10, 2003
but I don't plan on going..why would I mark an event on both or even one calender if I am not going

You're *not* going??!
But, you have all those open dates on your calendar! And you have the list of when and where!
And they said there would be hippie chicks there.
