Sounds fancy! Always wondered about easter eggs and how they were actually found. Must try that. Thanks for the clue! Oh! Is it just on the boxset disk? I only have the ones that are individual disks, you know the 4 different volumes. Must check and see if it's on that too.

Never saw the point getting the boxset myself once I'd got several of the individual volumes. Not point having two copies of the same thing, though there's always ebay.

Well, I've just found out that I've missed the 1st episode of the new Sarah Jane Adventures due to the seemingly complete lack of publicity from the BBC. OK,I know I've been laid up with the oink flu for the last week, but seriously, did anybody know the new series was starting this week?

Oh, right. That would be heavily in all the places that I don't normally venture into then 'cos it was a complete surprise to me. Shame nobody mentioned here...

I was also surprised. Apparently it is in high definition which seems unnecessary. It was entertaining.

I saw one trailer at the start of the week but then I completely forgot about it. for the reminder, Radox, I'll see if I can catch it on iplayer.

It was indeed entertaining but I still can't take Mr Smith seriously
"Hello, Sarah Jane. The lights in the sky were caused by an alien invasion fleet. They're so like trying to conquer the earth and shit."

Are we all aware of the new logo?

I shall open that as soon as I'm on an open system!
Done.....
Oh, don't like it. Might grow on me though.

Just watched the Sarah Jane Adventures on the iPlayer - I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Elisabeth Sladen was funny and I do like the Judoon. For a CBBC show the SFX were pretty good too.

Yes ... it's an enjoyably good bit of childrens television in the tradition of kids-outsmart-the-baddies-while-adults-act-like-numpties. Kids today are so much more sophisticated in their tastes and what they get delivered to them, but I think there's always room for some good old-fashioned telly without any swearing or (much) violence.

As for the new logo ... it's good, it's clever, I don't like it. Am I just being staid and old - or is the new series doomed by the fact that I don't like the new actor, I don't like the new costume, I don't like the new logo. I can only assume we'll have a new variation on the theme music next and obbiously I won't like that ...

I'm liking all the new Moffatt Who stuff because I'm being old and staid which is why I was never hooked on the RTD stuff.
