Whatever the weather.

I vote for the Hunt. I'm not scared of rain; the worst that could happen is that I get and have to take some time off work next week.
Whatever the weather.

I'd forgotten that he had 'laminated me' still... (He was my guard at SMEG) So I'll likely be doubled in London, as well.
Whatever the weather.

*wanders in after the excitement is over.*
Continue with the hunt!
I own one personal extendable precipitation diverter and wear about my person patented outside-of-cow coat - besides were researchers godsdammit! - well use our towels to dry off.
Whatever the weather.

If we're going skating, warn me and I'll wear me jeans - otherwise I'll just fall over in a skirt.
That and I could bring my skates...
Whatever the weather.

You men are *so* lucky that you get to travel so light!
Us women have to fetch so much stuff!
Poor Emily! At least I'm not bringing ice-skates!

Not Iceskating!!!!
ahem. My list of things to take (and some to buy) is huge! and its just started snowing, I can see the sno falling into the river from this computer room, so rain will be eminently welcome.

Lifson Kofie Posted Jan 25, 2002
Ice Skating might be a bit dodgy also for those of us in daft places like Eastbourne which don't have an ice-rink, have never seen an ice-rink, and have never been ice-skating before in our entire lives and the only ice we've ever seen is that in the freezer, or on the car-windscreen.
Minor point - but one worth makink I feel...
Rain or shine
J'au-æmne Posted Jan 25, 2002
Well I've Ice skated down Gilesgate, the steep hill where I live, before now... only without skates... and it was not the most fun of experiences *hopes the snow doesn't settle*
the only time I've been iceskating was when I went to Germany. I hated it (the skating, not the country)
Whatever the weather.

being close to trafalgar, don't forget the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery
Whatever the weather.

Oh with the hunt!!
I suppose the Tate modern would be a mildly diverting alternative... perhaps we should relocate the hunt in there. There'll be so many of us, it'd take them at least an hour to round us all up and truck us down to the police station...
Whatever the weather.

Monopoly board pub crawl doesn't disolve/solve precipitation problem Oh, well
*slinks off into corner to sit quietly...
Whatever the weather.
Peta Posted Jan 25, 2002
We can't do the hunt in the Tate, you're not allowed to take photos in any of the museums. Otherwise it'd be a great idea. I understand not being able to photograph old paintings, but sculptures? I suppose it's due to something akin to a copyright issue.
Whatever the weather.

...or undiscolouring the beds.
I got pulled up at Greenwich for that, no not undiscolouring a bed, taking a video. They'd sold the rights to Channel 4 or something.
