Won't that accumulate into one large "damp" group?

Menza Posted Jan 24, 2002
I think we should continue with the hunt for those who wish to run round London, and allow those who don't to stay close to the food and beer in the pub.
Whatever the weather.
$u$ Posted Jan 24, 2002
Well I'd like to cast another vote for invade the BBC *although please substitute 'X Files' for 'Dr Who'*
followed by a guided trip around h2g2 Towers.
Then afternoon tea
at Abi's before heading on to the pub
sounds just right.
Otherwise, I'm all for staying in the pub while the nutters get wet, 'cause I've had enough bugs already this winter.
But generally willing to go along with any other wet-weather arrangements, so long as they're cheap.

I'm not saying anything to that, GB...
I vote for the scavenger hunt! Rain just adds to the excite... erm... wetness of it...

Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jan 24, 2002
I'd fancy that! And ice-scating too.

Wumbeevil Posted Jan 24, 2002
Tally Ho or Hallytoeses or whatever they shout. On with the hunt.
Just add, "A picture of the group with Glenn Miller" if it's pouring.
PS Remember and give Munchkin every cemetery in London
PPS ...and Pooh the Dog
PPPS ....if that's legal.

Oh I am so touched! I spent ages on the scavenger hunt and was gutted when I was told it could be cancelled.
You are all so lovely!

Invade the BBC, scavenge for DR Who in their offices and hunt down the man with the orange tea cake, hiding in the bottom draw of a filing cabinate. Somewhere. or, drink...
Whatever the weather.
Frankie Roberto Posted Jan 24, 2002
Rain's not usually a big problem, I find, especially in London. There's always some place to take shelter, and it rarely rains non-stop for a whole afternoon. There'll be breaks...
Continue the Scavenger Hunt!

I know I have no say in this, as I'm not going to be there, but I couldn't resist making this suggestion, on behalf of some of my er friends...

Lightweights! A bit of rain never hurt anyone!
Except people who've fallen into big puddles and drowned, but I don't think that includes any of us. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

MaW Posted Jan 24, 2002
Hmm, I like ice skating!
It's funny Especially since I can skate just about well enough not to fall over or wobble very much. It's mean of me, but I can't help giggling at other people.
Key: Complain about this post
