Had anyone else ever heard of Robbie Stamp before?
Well I hate to sound smug but.. yes. Among other things, Robbie was one of the executive producers on the H2G2 film. But I'm sure I'm not the only person who knew that. I imagine the director knew, for a start.

Bah, Brunel is how you should read things - well, brunel and left to right and up to down

Oh this is awesome
I know this is very early and random, and TDV doesn't even exist any more...
But any chance of a sequel to Starship Titanic?

Baron Grim Posted Jun 22, 2011
It's been so long that just replaying it would be like playing a sequel.
(btw, I really need to finish playing the original InfoCom HHGTTG one of these days. )

Just popped in to say Hi.
All those years ago, with the family huddled around the TV watching Douglas launch this site on Tomorrows World; so much excitement, so many plans and dreams. But then, with so many plans and dreams, it all went a bit pear shaped.
The Chief Fantasist may have left us, but the dream hasn't, and thanks to Robbie's ability to conjure a plan from a hat, here we all are, huddled around our screens, bubbly on ice, waiting to finally welcome you all home.
Best
James

Great to hear from you James. That means a lot to us. I think this site has a great future now with its new owners, a fantastic community and its inspirational core values - those we get from said Chief Fantasist. Here's to the next ten years
All the best,
H2G2 Eds

FB, I heartily agree about the superiority of Alabaster.

While I have no object to either albaster or brunel they're just "styles", change colour a little, move things a touch. The only true "skin" is Goo. you either use the Goo skin or you're under an illusion. True fact, case closed.

Goo hurts my eyes and always has. Alabaster isn't just about color. It is easier on old eyes. I also like the arrangement of things in Alabaster. Heck, I even live in an Alabaster House.

James, thank you!
Most people here probably don't realise that you are Douglas's brother, (he's Dougalas Adams' actual BROTHER people! ) so your post F77636?thread=8244180&show=20&skip=140#p109477062 means a huge amount to us here at this time.
Many thanks for taking the time to drop by, and many thanks for your support for the new chapter of this crazy adventure.
Ben

I don't much have a skin preference although I regularly use Brunel. What's important to me, however, is the My Convo popup, the lack of which was the point which killed Barlesque for me. Well, that and the fact that the thing just didn't seem to work. And I didn't like the colours.
Key: Complain about this post
