Just to clarify (he says after stating we wouldn't reply!!), you will still be able to upload or edit entries, but that once they are submitted they will join the moderation queue. Likewise, all postings that are made will enter a queue, but if complaints are received, they will be dealt with separately from queued postings.

As Mina noted, while it is possible to simply switch off the entire site for 24 hours, we felt that this way would at least allow people to contribute entries, posts and journal entries, but will restrict replies to existing posts. To use a phrase, this was our 'least-worst' option.

just like to say its about time some had a bit of a strike, i grew up with the "Brothers of the Union" and the fun we haqd shouting abuse at each other, was just great!
