12 October (which this year is a *Tuesday* ) is a national holiday in Spain. Because it falls on a *Tuesday* this year a lot of people take a 'puente' (bridge) and end up with a four-day long weekend.
Not bad, eh?

So Azahar, does that make the Monday another Saturday and the Tuesday another Sunday? Or is Monday just another day off and Tuesday a Monday like that? And if you play jazz all day long on that extra day off, does that make it a Tino Puente?

Hoppo barfaday Mortmummy!
It seems to be the 12th here in France & so far no strikes or public hlidays, so no excuse for a "pont" either; all in all i think i will just stay in bed & let them get on with it & dream of "error on this page" messages floating quietly away....
*azahar, just sent you pics of me & yoda for the fokti thing*

Didn't we have a thread like this before (date confusion with downtime)?. Or am I having a deja vu?

GreyDesk -- do you tell us The Birthday Song is still under copyright? That must be the most performed piece in the world!
Someone has tried to revive the copyright on "Desiderata" -- it was written in the 1920s but the author, Max Ehrmann, gave permission for it to be put out into the public domain, to encourage the injured troops in WW2; now his heirs and assigns (his widow is dead) are trying to claw back some revenue. Their sad tale is truly sickening. "It's all I have to live on and they're stealing it from me."

Well that's an interesting thread GreyDesk. Some names drifted up as from a dim distant past (to me) -- Sam who's left hootoo to become a song and dance man, RhoMuNuQ who subbed (excellently) an entry or two of mine, and Tango who is apparently still under pre-mod, and still 16.
Oh oh. Looking for which entries Rho subbed, I find that none of my Edited Entries exists any longer. Ah well . . .

"The site being _S_l_o_w_ I will not deny, but it does not have 'no more errors', I would rephrase that as 'not more errors'
Once '0 researchers' about five '501 errors', and currently trying to report 2 more '502 errors'"
