Places like hootoo are made up of 2 parts, front-end and back-end.

front-end is what you see

the back-end is the bit where all the magic happens that is beyond our comprehension and is to do with what is running on the servers.

if it is a backend fix you won't notice anything

If we won't notice *anything* then why are they bothering to do it?
Not faster or anything?

What *sort* of things can be in backend fixes then?

There are *lots* of reasons as to why they are bothering.

However im not comment on them as i don't know what it is that they are chagning, and i don't want to give an example that could lead you into thinking they are changing something they are not.

But if you were then right I'd think you were very clever and probably kind of half guessed it might do that and were just keeping it quiet because you weren t sure - so what would be the harm in telling me just a bit? Either way you win. smiley - smiley

Well there's no shortage of things needing fixing. There are also some things which already exist but aren't in all the various skins. I wouldn't have thought the skins really counted as back-end or behind-the-scenes fixes though.

Oddly, it is the line that contains the subject.

Start a thread, it ask for a subject, but in reply a user may alter the subject line. Other times a post that is hidden (queued until looked at by the site moderators) or removed by them. There are time when the subject line itself is the problem, or post 1 of a thread a problem. You may see subject lines as "" from time to time.

Look at the top of the post, you will see Subject: {subject content}

There are times when an editor will change the subject, this happen's often when these anoucement appear, the BBC budject does not stretch to a calender, or a clock with hand on. smiley - winkeye
