Marjin, After a long time of procrastination back lurking

smiley - erm
'Bxllxcks' is acceptable, replacing the 'x' with '0' is not.

Anyone over or under 16 who does not know what the original letter is?

We seem to live in an old peoples home where we grumble about the new
tablecloths.....

I do (mis)understand;

we have to log in,
first with our old login code,
and then change it in a code of minimum 7 characters, including at least one letter?

Ah, so that was what it was.

I can never understand these cod-number plate spellings for words. I much prefer to call a spade a spade, or a meat and 2 veg in this instance...

Spelugx the Beige, Wizard, Perl, Thaumatologically Challenged

Survival Guide for Monday:

smiley - star You arrive back on h2g2 and discover a big ugly bar across the screen with two buttons, one saying 'Sign In'.

smiley - star You click 'Sign In', and get a message welcoming you back.[1]

smiley - star Click on the proceed button to move onto stage 1, where you have boxes for username, password etc. It may force you to change your username if it clashes with one already used in the new system, but you can change it even if it doesn't. The software then gives you lots of forms to fill out, and at the end emails you.

smiley - star Simply read the email and follow the link in it. You should get back to hootoo as yourself.

spelugx

[1] You may get a login screen, just enter your current login username/password, and it should get you into the migration system.
