Dear All,
I hate to say this, but I'll get straight to it: I'm leaving my role on h2g2. I'll still be at the BBC (doing some product development) and certainly on h2g2, but not in an official capacity.
I'll be leaving the editorial office of h2g2 a week today, which isn't much time, so it's just as well I don't like long goodbyes! The other thing that you should know is that I'm not going to be replaced.
I'm very sorry to go, it's been a huge privilege to work with you all and with Sam, Ashley, Abi, Mina, Natalie and Jim over the past (nearly) four years. (But am very pleased and excited about my new job also!)
See you around onsite!

Things just won't be the same again... Thanks for all the hard work you've put in - especially with the Scouts and Subeditors, they wouldn't have turned out they way they are without you!

We'll be sorry to see you go Anna- you've done a great deal of brilliant work for the site over the years. Especially, from my point of view, for the Scouts.
I hope you enjoy your new role, and I hope you won't be a stranger. I also hope you keep coming to the meets, albeit as a Researcher.

I can only hope the change is as positive as you say. And wish you good luck in your dealings with such a large 'political' entity.
My 50 years experience of the CBC in Canada tells me that change is inevitable and will either be very painful or very rewarding, depending on the way the wind is blowing and the way you hold your tongue.
I do look forward to seeing you posting here in your new unofficial capacity. Your job always seemed to come between us
