Don't forget that if you write more entries, we can link them all together once they are edited. Which reminds me, I wrote another Wildlife Gardening entry, I can add some links to the original project pages. smiley - ta

I don't think you are going to lose your badge - it's the only one you don't have to continuously contribute to keep. However, they will presumably be preventing anyone else from getting one even with extensively linked projects of the type which might formerly have gone through the university.

That would have scanned better as: "the only one for which you don't"...

We would consider giving badges for linked entries once they'd all been on the Front Page. We definitely won't be taking any away that have been issued already.

Mina, how many common-theme linked entries would constitute a Project?

I should add that this isn't something that we've actually decided, so it's possible that we might either not do this at all, or change the number to something like five.

I don't get any hopes up, only to dash them later.

Was it really closed?? I just heard the news. If it was is there something to replace it?

Post 54

Mina

I'm afraid that it has closed, although we are still publishing projects as there were a few left over. There isn't anything to replace it as such, but you can still do linked projects - they'll have to go through Peer Review instead. There is a chance that badges will still be given though.

GinTonyx - Keeper and Mixer of the Gin and Tonic, Muse of the Lemon Garden.

Hi guys.

Long time, but I'm back. And I have really good news, too. I finished my UoL Project A493300

Now that I heard the UoL has closed down, what do we do with the project now? Anyone have a good idea?

Hey Gin,

My understanding (and I could be way off the mark here!) is that you have to submit them through Peer Review, send it off to a sub and then wait for them to be stuck on the front page. I havent heard whether they will issue UoL badges any longer, but I'm sure an italic will be along in the not too distant future to tell you the official line.
