I think a lot of people now have cramp in their hands from the rapid typing taking place.
It must be the addiction.

Did soomething go wrong in the move yesterday? I couldn't get in at 13.30 GMT, so was it the move or the system administrators?

I believe it took longer then expected but I haven't been told why. I suspect it was traffic on the M25.

Actually, it also took quite a time to unplug the servers at one end, and plug them back in at the other.
It's reassuring to see that even people who do this for a living can take forever to find the right brackets and work out how to fit them into a rack.
Once the servers were plugged in, it only took about 20 minutes to power up all the servers, switch their IP addresses and change their configuration to reflect their new location.

I just love the idea of h2g2 getting stuck in traffic.

Now what's going on?
I just got bounced out with HTTP errors, then tried to get back in and was told that not only was I not logged on, but all my Personal Space stuff had disappeared (not a bad thing, some might say) and when I tried to log on it told me I wasn't even registered!
So I decided to have lunch and turned it all off, then on again and it all works again!
I will never understand these things. I'm sure they do it to annoy.
