*applauds*
Remember the star trek (original series) episode where the droid was given a piece of illogic to work out? He finally exploded or something.. ok, maybe he just started to smoulder a bit as his circuits overheated....

I find it hard to believe that banning people from communicating in Welsh is not illegal under the laws of England and Wales

I forgot 5d.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and/or specific terms appearing elsewhere on this site relating to specific material then the latter shall prevail.
This could mean that h2g2 specific rules can override the general BBC rules. Galactic indeed!

Is Marjin breaking the "No Spitting" rule? That's the most fundamental rule of h2g2.

More to the point, I suspect it might have something to do with the fact that at least two of them only got back from holiday today, so they're probably still trying to find their keyboards under the pile of paperwork on their desks

Bit difficult if they cannot find their own keybord, and the others carefully stick to the rule of not posting for/as someone else.

Hi guys.
You're right, we have been rather quiet today. There is a lot of backlog to read through, and due to people returning from holiday and other absences, we're not going to able to post a response today.
As soon as we've caught up, and have had a chance to discuss the points raised in this thread, we'll come back to you.
In the meantime, here are the links that Peta mentioned.
