Yay!! Oh, hm, will URLs still be checked and postings still be killed if there's a broken link?

If the trial's over, does that mean I can put in a link to Irish-Overweight-Grannies-with-Exotic-Marital-Aids dot com?
Didn't think so.

Well, yes, it is, and that's could be the crux of the argument to drop the whole business. I mean, we have a lot better capability for reactive moderation than we did before after all - we didn't have the Yikes!/Linda buttons in the pre-BBC days. Those really should be all we need, but we just have to prove that somehow.
In the mean time, though, I hope Jim and his team get the chance to extend the moderation tools for TransVols, and the server resources are provided for uploading our own pictures - that would be just great!!!!

Getting other languages back up and running would be a really cool thing, it might mean we could get back some of the international researchers lost after Rupert.

Once languages and pictures are reinstated, it might just be worth a mailshot of all researchers who haven't been on in, say six months, just to let them know...?
Key: Complain about this post
