I get paid for it. I'm the source of most enlightenment, being Buddha's physical incarnation.

Arthbard Posted Apr 23, 2002
I don't think Buddha would accept money for enlightenment.

Then they're not poor, anymore and you don't have anyone to give the money to anymore, so you keep it all to yourself you greedy, non-Buddha-type person, you.

There will always be poor people. When the poor become rich (and have a sustainable income) then I just switch from ex- poor back to poor again.

Ah...Isn't that what Dennis Moore did? I think the redistribution of wealth got tricky, because he had to make sure everyone ended up with the same amount.

Ya think? I dint get any money from him, but I'm not particularly poor. I never have any cash on me. However, some people I know are less well off and always have loads. That must be where their money comes from.

Arthbard Posted Jul 8, 2002
Maybe...Or perhaps their having of money has something to do with your not having any of it.
I hate to interrupt
Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 9, 2002
Maybe. But then, theoretically, I should be poor and them, rich. So I should start getting money again.

Arthbard Posted Jul 17, 2002
Well, I think there's a bit of a backlog. You'll probably start getting your money some time in the next twenty years or so.
I hate to interrupt
Arthbard Posted Jul 26, 2002
Well, in that case, it'd be kind of hard to give it up, which is lucky in a way, because not giving them up can be very tricky, sometimes.

I /want/ a day job, I just don't have one. I'll look when I can in... two months and four days.

Arthbard Posted Aug 8, 2002
Oh, that's pretty good...Perhaps you could be a day-counter. Does anyone pay for that?
I hate to interrupt
Researcher 185550 Posted Aug 8, 2002
I doubt it . I'll just have to do something else, like pogo stick testing in a minefield. Or maybe I could be Spinal Tap's new drummer!
I hate to interrupt
Arthbard Posted Aug 8, 2002
Oh, Spinal Tap's drummer! That sounds like a wonderful idea! I hear they've got an opening for a new drummer.
