A Conversation for The Celebrity Game!

OK - Mae West / Robert Downey Jr.
Do I have to know the answer myself?
The game commences.
Arthbard Posted Oct 6, 2001
Of course not. In fact, I prefer you don't know the answer, as it improves my chances of winning. Besides, there isn't really a single answer. There are usually many different ways to connect one celebrity to another.
As for Mae West, I had to do a little research, but I've managed to connect her to Timothy Dalton in "Sextette."
Your go.

You can call me TC Posted Oct 6, 2001
Timothy Dalton was in The Beautician and the Beast, directed by Ken Kwapis. (Directors are allowed, aren't they?)
BTW Ken Kwapis directed "He Said, She Said", in 1991 - starring Kevin Bacon!

Arthbard Posted Oct 6, 2001
Directors, composers, stuntmen. If there's a connection there, you can use 'em.
Ken Kwapis directed "Vibes" with Cyndi Lauper.

You can call me TC Posted Oct 8, 2001
I could say Robert Downey Jr has good vibes. But that would be rather thin.
Cyndi Lauper - O God! I've just noticed she's older than me!
Cyndi Lauper "appeared in an allstar Berlin production of Pink Floyd's "The Wall"" - it says here. (In 1990)
Albert Finney also played a part in that performance.

This looks like a good time to use my double.
Albert Finney appeared in "Traffic" with Michael Douglas.
Michael Douglas was also in "Wonder Boys" with Robert Downey Jr.

You didn't tell me you were playing by the Mornington Crescent rule book!
The game commences.
Arthbard Posted Oct 21, 2001
Not sure about Morning Crescent...I just play by the same rules I always have. I've attempted to explain them the best I can, but if you don't agree, I'm in charge here and I say you're wrong.

Oh, goody, I like winning ...I mean...Not that the whole "how you play the game" thing doesn't have it's advantages, but I figure winning is pretty cool, too.
Anyway, I've got a hankerin' to connect Jim Varney to Andie MacDowell.

As it's gone a bit quiet do you mind if I join in?
Hope not, so here goes:
Jim Varney was the voice of Slinky in Toy Story 2.
Tom Hanks was the voice in Woody in Toy Story 2.
Off you go then.

Yes! More hot, celebrity action......Well...Anyways...
Tom Hanks in Toy Story 1 ith Tim Allen seems a bit easy, but I do have a pretty clear direction in mind, so you're just gonna have to live with it.

Right,
So using my double take try these:
Tim Allen to Judge Reinhold in The Santa Clause
Judge Reinhold to Corey Feldman in Gremlins
Cop that!

Okay, Corey Feldman was in the Goonies, directed by Richard Donner.

Billy Crystal was in My Giant which was directed by Michael Lehmann.
I didn't know if I could use the same film twice but there's a good reasdon why

Arthbard Posted Feb 25, 2002
Normally, I'd say it's okay to use the same film twice, so long as it isn't twice in a row, but since I didn't specify that in the rules (and it lets me win), I'll let you get away with it this time.
Michael Lehmann directed Hudson Hawk.
Hudson Hawk had Andie Macdowell.
Arthbard wins through no fault of his own.
