[Dylan] They were implying that YK was Satanic by saying that he's never read the books.

No No No, they were implying that he was satanic because he had the 666th post, and because he HAS read the Harry Potter books, which some of the more wing nut christian groups belive encourages satanism and witchcraft.

oh, my, a Harry Potter/Damien crossover.
Coming soon, to a theater near you..."Harry Potter and the Omen Stone!"
Watch as Harry and Damien do in fanatical Fundamentalists with the pack of reeaally creepy rotweilers favored by hollywood horror movie directors. Gasp as Harry steals the Omen Stone from Damien's Nanny! With special guest appearance from the kids of South Park, who have been doing Damien gags for ever and feel Harry Potter deserves equal time.

Well, I've seen the movie. Definately worth seeing. It was very well done, but fell short of being spectacular. Of course movies can never be as good as books, but there were a couple of places where they changed things unneccessarily - the book version was better. Also, they made it a bit too fast-paced and lost some of the richness. They also left out a few important bits, again unneccessarily (the example I'm thinking of would have only added about 30 seconds of dialog), and changed the end slightly (unneccessarily - the book was better, the movie flashier). All-in-all, it was a very good movie, but with only a few minor changes it could have been a great movie.

I want to see it, mainly because I'm hoping that the Snape character is done as well as in the books. As I've tiresomely said before, Snape is the best character in those stories, from a literary standpoint.
