Me? Dance? Just try and stop me!
I've been dancing all my life - started with ballet and then moved on to all sorts of different styles. I particularly enjoyed flamenco, as it involved stomping your feet and looking grumpy, something which I appeared to have a natural flair for
I've done tap, jazz, salsa and line dancing, but my current favourite is Scottish country dancing. As someone else pointed out, it's so much easier when the routines are already designed, and usually called out to you. It also has the added attraction of not needing a partner; in fact at balls and parties it is bad form to have the same partner for every dance (and anyway, you end up dancing with everyone in the set). So it's nice gentle exercise, suitable for any age group, works the brain as well as the feet, and you get to meet lots of lovely gents in kilts
