And I don't know how much Dr. Rangel has told you about herself, but I know that Lorenzen comes from the same place as she does. I don't know if they are working together, I suspect they are not.

And, if something terrible occurs, such as that monster's mate attacks us, then I might be able to contact my ship, but I can only rescue 4. Also, I need Lorenzen to return my transmitter, and I'll need the cat

As for Lizzie, I scanned her 3 years ago, when she was born. She is a part human and part Cetacean. I probably shouldn't have told you that. Benjamin is her father in every way that is important.

*stares at Richardson, unable to speak for a while*

Miss Rangel and Mr Lorenzen seem to be working well enough together, just now, but I agree in principal that they do not do so often. Uli has nothing, that I know of, which should startle you in anyway. As for the cat... Why would you need Puss to, um, fly your, um, ship?

The transmitter I use to summon the ship is out of power. I can get that from the cat.

Frankly, I don't know what that cat is doing here anyway. To the best of my knowledge the people of Procyon, who sent cats like it here, completed their survey of Earth over a thousand years ago. Um, did any of that make sense?

Unfortunately, more than I wanted to, Albert. *gives a lopsided smile* I seem to have become almost used to such out-of-place things on this voyage...

The cat however - which I know is a breed called an androyd - doesn't have a particularly large amount of power just now...

I can drain my device if I have to, so I don't need that much power. Actually, any electricity will do. But the cat has enough power for my needs.

Albert, I must ask you seriously, have you considered looking for a bride for yourself? You could find one in a heartbeat, I have now doubt. Then you two could have a child together and you would have your proof! I'm sure that there is a woman out there for you...

I...that is...well...I shall, er, look into that. I have to carry on, after all. I have most of a generation to work on the problem, unless I'm...never mind. The matter is not pressing.
