Aye, odd things are to happen. I've seen an ill omen, a portent of death.
Enough of that though, I thought I might cheer you up. Why the long face recently?

Hungry, Goodschad, I'm hungry. I can't understand why I'm so hungry - there's something wrong. But there's nothing you can do about that.
But maybe you could help figure out who has been tampering with my things, in particular that object that is especially dear to me.
This Amelia, she seems to have an affinity for the cat, perhaps too much so - and how can she hide so long unnoticed, on so small a ship? I'm going to keep an eye on her. Maybe you could try to find out if anyone else has a reason to tamper with my things. I think the only person I trust right now is Uli, the stowaway. I have a good feeling about her.
Oh, and you of course!
