*chuckles* That is true.

I will agree however, that it is amusing how Bradbury won the gold. I was watching it. Both his qualifiers and the actual event were won because he was so far back in the pack that he could avoid the crashes *G* That takes skill. smiley - laugh

Hey Loony, i saw lord of the rings finally. I worked out why it was filmed in nz: because they didn't have to use any prosthetics/ makeup for the orcs. rumour has it they all come from a small town about half an hour from where you live smiley - tongueout

Linus, talking about (d)orks, I see - going by his loutish performance at the Bafta Awards - New Zealand's Russell Crowe has turned into a fully-paid-up, card-carrying Ocker.

As long as I can stagger safely, I won't have a problem ^.^ Note: Must remember towel *G*

Yes, towel is essential.....

i've got an idea of where the pub is from the map, and anyway, i'm going to be driving there (in my little bomb of a car), so it shouldn't be too bad - which is annoying too, as i cannot have many many smiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - bubblysmiley - bubblysmiley - stiffdrink and get smiley - drunk

Yeah - and avoid Lebanese taxi drivers - the last one that got me to the pub gave me a (mis)giuded tour of the back streets smiley - grr

Last time we identified ourselves by carrying a HHGTTg book, CD etc - but I had my towel too smiley - laugh

Don't forget that you are all sworn to secrecy re my identity - and yes, I've still got my bag smiley - laugh

Post 59

Sierra Indigo - now Cheesecakethulhu flavoured

A HHGTTG book or whatnot? Erk. Unfortunately when I left the parental cradle I had to leave all of my HHGTTG behind *whimpers* I've got The Meaning of Liff but...I might have to bring that instead....Or maybe subject the world to the horrors of Dirk Gently *snickers*

Sydney Meet 13th April 2002

Post 60

...Shrillian...

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!..........Not Dirk Gently!! smiley - yikes

How could you do that to anyone??!! smiley - laugh

So basically, anything possible related to HHGTTG??....that sounds good....but i'll definitely (try and remember to) bring a towel.

smiley - ok
