No, they'll just be changed into 1 million Euros sweets, which makes no sense whatsoever.

That's the whole point..... You don't! With the banishment of the Penny, anything Penny related (penny-chew, penny-farthing, Penny Lane) will now be turned into Euros. You can just imagine the amount of dubbing needed to go on the Beatles' records

Will girls who are called Penny have to change their names to 'Euro'?

Fluke Posted Jun 22, 1999
I think changing the names of 'pens' to 'Eurs' would be going a bit too far.

This is not totally true there is a type of monkey that has sex for pleasure as well as dolphins anyway most species probably find sex pleasurable. This is probably especially true for some snakes which have two penises which can split into 4!!! Then again some spiders eat their mate after sex but I suppose they die happy!

My twisted logic determines that if pennies are changed into Euros, then pens would be changed into Eurs.
It made sense at the time.

Well your twisted logic got in the way of a good punchline. I set em up, you knock em down. Except in this case, it didn't quite work.

Oh, thanks. I'll have a pint of what you're having!
Except it's not funny now.

I can't think hard enough to make it funny.
It's too complex for us single-cell life forms.
