Ahh.. A tropical beach at night. what a wonderful experience. When it's dark at home it's time to put on a jacket, even in summer, not cold mind you just cool. Here the evening is comfortable in just a tee shirt the carribean air is like the warm jacket. And the stars!!. Look a sattelite! So clear you can see the change in brightness as it rotates in the sun miles above us. Will there be fireflies here? I remember some magical nights I spent at a small resort outside Montego Bay. The night air warm and soft, the stars bright and clear in the sky, and all along the beach fireflies put on a star show of their own. I swear at times you felt you were in the heavens with the stars as the fireflies danced and winked all around you blending with the stars above. Meanwhile at the edge of the horizon there were thunderstorms over Cuba, flashes of light suddenly showing you towering clouds in the far distance, much too distant to hear any thunder, and who was listening anyway since a very competent jazz band entertained for much of the evening on a small stage by the pool deck just off the beach.
Ooo yes thanks, a small swig of laphroiag would do nicely. Pehaps a bit on the peaty side but very nice indeed.
Ah yes delightful. I'm reminded of the motto of a single malt my brother and I enjoyed on a fishing trip last year. The name eludes me (where is that senior's moment smiley) but I loved the motto. "I shine not burn"

Imagine that! Unauthorized renovations on the Blood! Those left behind seem to be acting like a band of scoff-laws, like anarchists, like well Pirates I guess.
Your the soul of decency
Your loyal and fair and on the square
And most importantly When your a professional Pirate.
Your always in the best of companyyyyyyyy

Captain Pierce aboard ship!!! I've never met the good captain I do hope he's not too fierce.
Is there some form of initiation involved whith becoming a member of the crew? I'm not too fond of being keel-hauled but I'm sure I could down a shot of grog or something like that.
Clever of you to wear a tee while snorkling mari-rae, we spend hours with our backs exposed to the sun while staring down at the beautiful sights. Sunburn is a definite danger.
