skagmark walks in and tells alec I was just up at the figurehead and I noticed that the small wheels we used to cross the desert won't retract because they are full of sand and camel dung.
What do you suggest we do?

I believe the rats aboard The Blood have their own cabins equiped with all the amenities including ensuite. Very cultured creatures they are which accounts for the constantly disappearing bottles of single malt.

an old man once told me rats *are* very cultured creatures! "if men could learn more about them, we might learn to live in perfect harmony", he told me. "we might even learn a thing or two about helping each other and treating each other right"
he is long gone now
only the rats survived
