*Props up Linus's body and puts a Cooper's into his hand. Tapes it in place with duct tape.*
There, that's better. He looks more like himself that way.
We met at a party. It was a fantastic party, although it was a bit damp. I met Shazz, TM, Monsy, and Anonymouse there too! The reason it was damp was that the party was on a whale's back. After a bit we moved inside the whale, but that was also damp.

Stop splitting pods! After all, it's the same difference...
You just wanted to spoil my pun didn't you?
So has Linus not been around for a while now?

No, but I'm thinking of lugging his inert body around to all his former threads, just in case anyone is pining away after him.
*opens barfridge and stares inside, deciding what to drink..*

I heard from Linus this morning (Everyone is well and Rebecca is walking!) and informed him that we've propped him up with a beer in several forums, despite his eyes falling out.
*Sips her V&T and wonders whether why Cap'n likes an old biddy's drink*

Only for medical reasons of course. I'd like to be as lively as your Queen Mum - should I ever reach that age

I'm sure that having most of your major internal organs preserved in alcohol, will help you live to a ripe old age Pierce!
Here! Allow me to top up your longevity medication...We should turn this into a wake for our absent pal, Linus.
*Passes Pierce another gin'n'tonyx*
What's your poison Mari dearest?

Hm, this is probably better than having a tube stuck down your throat in order to have your intestines examined
*downs his drinks with Linus' eyes*
Can yer see anything yet - or should I swallow a torch as well?

It's what they'll see as they emerge the other end of Pierce's intestinal tract that worries me Mari...
*Wonders whether she should "send down" a blind fold for Linus' eyes to use*
