Amy's Hammock

...er maybe the will come here a little more often now...
*enter alec, carrying toolboxes, tubing, cables, plumbing parts and the new compound mitre chop saw thingy with the laser sights that he got for Christmas*
OK JUST SET IT DOWN GENTLY RIGHT....HERE
* he shouts to the crew of the Sikorsky hovering overhead...
gently, the winch person lowers what appears to be a bungalow sized cake-stand cover, but which is in fact a fully fitted luxuriously appointed hyperbaric chamber wot alec nicked from 'neverland' last weekend ...(micheal just gasped when he saw it gone)*
i just need to fasten this thing down to the deck, hook up the air-conditioning and water lines, then connect this NMEA cable to the weather receiver on the bridge.
Then our favourite will be able to swing gently in her hammock, whilst receiving any weather she likes from around the world : tropical, temperate ...whatever,
and Amy can rest assured that the atmospheric pressure will ALWAYS be:
"987millibars and falling".

*unable to hear what amy is saying because of the loud "zing" of the laser guided chop saw thingy he is using, alec counts his fingers and waves to amy*

Can I try it now?
*sets the dials to 998 millibars and steady, summer's afternoon, 22 degrees C, gentle breeze from the South*

it should all be up and running now amy
*points out controls for hot tub, plunge pool *
oh, and here's the tap...
erm it might be a bit lively, till things settle down, what with the low pressure and all.
