I just finished reading Truman Capote's book "Breakfast at Tiffany's." In one chapter near the end, Holly Golightly is trying to learn Portuguese and cook Portuguese food so she can marry a Portuguese man. One of the dishes she is cooking is chicken with a chocolate sauce. The narrator thinks this is a mistake. However, I have eaten chicken with chocolaty mole sauce in a Mexican restaurant. It wasn't to my taste, but it illustrates the range of things that can be combined with chocolate.smiley - drool

I've had some lovely chili con carne with chocolate in it. Didn't taste of chocolate at all but of course it added something

I will break my usual rule of not linking to that W@$$# site and offer this;

It is one of our favourites, I can usually buy the frozen meat sauce in one of our local grocery stores. We serve it over spaghetti noodles, with chopped onion and shredded cheese.

This is the Internet.smiley - biggrin
If there is a 'secret recipe' there are bound to be at least a dozen or so links of people who think they found the perfect work around

You're right, Florida Sailor. The famous "Soup Nazi" who was featured on the "Seinfeld" show had secret recipes until someone bought his soups and subjected them to laboratory analysis and then posted the results on the Internet. I have four of them. smiley - smiley

Aye, there be plenty of those. Unfortunately. Due to the ever faster melting of the glaciers on Greenland

I have an old oil painting of Isafjordur ( = Ice Fjord) on my wall. I bought it off a colleague many years ago when she was in dire straits. I shall photograph and upload it tomorrow if I find the time. Maybe the day after

*intercom crackles and the captain's voice is heard all around the ship*

This is your captain speaking. I have shamelessly recommended our ship as one of the better parts of h2g2. This might lead to visits from old as well as new hitchhikers. I am counting on you to make them feel welcome. Thank you
